Tableware:
Q: Is all of your tableware food-safe?
A: I make everything with food-safe glazes. The crackle glaze available on a few pieces can stain over time as colouring gets into the tiny cracks in the glaze, but as long as these pieces are washed properly with soap and hot water, they don’t pose a threat to food-safety.
Q: Is your tableware dishwasher- and microwave-safe?
A: I recommend washing my pieces by hand. They are all technically dishwasher-safe, but some pieces—especially those with thinner walls or handles can be delicate and will last longer if washed by hand, with care. All of my work is microwave-safe.
Q: Are all measurements provided on product pages accurate?
A: I endeavour to provide accurate measurements, both in terms of volume and dimensions. There will inevitably be slight discrepancies, and with some pieces dimensions will vary slightly.
Shipping:
Q: When will I receive my order?
A: Orders will be shipped out within 5 working days. Domestic orders, shipped via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For, are usually received within 1 to 2 working days. International orders may vary.
Q: What is your returns policy?
A: I only offer returns, replacements, or refunds due to: breakage in transit; disparity in item sold and item received; significant dissatisfaction cause by an error or fault of mine. I do, however, consider the above on a case-by-case basis and am more than happy to discuss this.
Q: How is my order shipped?
A: I endeavour to avoid plastic in the packing or orders, bar occasional plastic packing tape where absolutely necessary, or when recycling plastic packing materials such as bubble wrap or air pockets. Orders are otherwise packed with recycled or recyclable paper products. Where orders are shipped with foam packing peanuts, these are made of corn starch and can be composted, dissolved in hot water and washed away, or reused!
