A hand-thrown and -turned wide, shallow bowl thrown in medium black clay glazed in white. This is thrown in a heavier clay with a coarser texture due to the higher grog content, with a thicker glaze allowing the throwing rings to peep through. Ideal as a decorative piece, or fruit bowl, this is less suited to be a serving bowl due to the texture and finish of the interior, which is rougher and more rustic.

These pieces can be put through the dishwasher, but I recommend hand-washing, as they are delicate.
